Investing in independent film — including drive-in classics, B-movies, sci-fi, creature features and westerns — involves substantial risk, including the total loss of your investment. • Illiquidity. Fractional film equity is not publicly traded. There is no resale market.
• Long horizons. Distribution, collections, and statements typically span 3–7 years.
• Genre concentration. Planet Drive In invests only in drive-in style cinema — B-movies, sci-fi, creature features and westerns. Genre cycles, censorship, and platform policies can compound losses.
• Production risk. Films may be delayed, recast, abandoned, or fail to deliver a finished cut.
• No SIPC / FDIC protection.
